As Argus continues to expand across the Middle East, we are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven New Business Manager to join our growing team in Dubai.
This is a true hunter role focused on winning new customers, opening new markets, and driving net-new revenue growth across one of the world's most dynamic energy and commodity trading regions. You will take ownership of developing new business opportunities, building senior-level relationships, and positioning Argus' market-leading intelligence, data, and pricing solutions with prospective clients.
This role offers significant autonomy, uncapped earning potential, and the opportunity to establish yourself as a trusted advisor within the commodity markets sector.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
· Identify, target, and secure new client opportunities across the Middle East.
· Develop and execute territory plans focused on new logo acquisition and market expansion.
· Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to exceed growth targets.
· Create demand through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and targeted outreach.
Sales & Relationship Management
· Engage stakeholders at all levels, from operational users to C-suite decision-makers.
· Understand client challenges and align Argus solutions to their business objectives.
· Lead opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract closure.
· Build long-term relationships that support future growth opportunities.
Market Development
· Represent Argus at client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events throughout the region.
· Provide market feedback and competitive insights to support commercial strategy.
· Partner with marketing, product, editorial, and business development teams to accelerate growth.
Skills & Experience
Essential
· 6+ years' successful B2B sales or business development experience.
· Proven track record of generating and closing new business opportunities.
· Strong prospecting, pipeline management, and territory planning skills.
· Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with a consultative sales approach.
· Fluent English.
Preferred
Experience selling:
· Market intelligence, business information, or data solutions
· Subscription-based products or services
· SaaS or Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions
· Sponsorship, events, or professional services solutions
Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
Travel
This role requires regular travel across the Middle East, with approximately 70% regional travel.
