About the role
This is a senior role within Argus Analytics, combining leadership of one of the most well-respected nitrogen market intelligence teams in the sector, thought leadership, commercial growth, product innovation and executive client engagement.
Argus Analytics forms one half of the advisory division of Argus Media Group. Comprising a global team of 90 analysts, we provide clients with analysis, data and forecasts across 35 commodities and markets spanning oil & gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers, power, metals, agriculture markets and energy transition solutions. Our work is firmly focused on market fundamentals — considering end-to-end value chains, international trade flows and macroeconomic trends. Our value proposition centres around the quality of our analysts, the depth of our data and our ability to leverage Argus’ wider strengths — 55 years of commodity markets expertise, unrivalled global networks and proprietary databases.
The fertilizer team is one of the most successful parts of our rapidly growing Analytics business. To drive future growth, we are now looking for an experienced, passionate and future-focussed Senior Nitrogen Manager to lead our portfolio of nitrogen-related subscription services (encapsulating Ammonia, Urea and TGU). At its core, this role will drive the delivery of an expansive and provocative thought leadership agenda, build enduring relationships with the industry and create the next generation of content and data in ways that position Argus as the first voice clients turn to when seeking to understand the nitrogen value chain.
Reporting to the Global Head of Fertilizer Analytics, the successful candidate will have an ambitious and high-profile mandate to materially grow our existing $ multi-million client base. The successful candidate will also play a significant part in building brand and commercial presence in all the markets we cover, working alongside other sector teams, commercial functions and senior industry stakeholders to achieve these aims. We are therefore seeking someone who demonstrates strong sector knowledge, managerial pedigree, client gravitas and commercial acumen.
