The Deals Desk Coordinator is a non-customer facing role, responsible for supporting the administration and processing of sales opportunities, quotes, contracts, and approvals. This role helps ensure deals are accurately recorded, reviewed, and completed in line with company policies and processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success teams to support the deal lifecycle, maintain data quality, and provide timely administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Administration & Support
Support the processing of sales quotes, orders, contract requests, and renewals.
Review deal submissions for completeness and accuracy before approval.
Track deal approvals and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain deal documentation and records in CRM systems.
Ensure all supporting documentation is stored and filed correctly.
CRM & Data Management
Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and contract information.
Perform regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
Process Coordination
Coordinate approval workflows between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.
Monitor deal progress and provide status updates to sales teams.
Assist with contract renewals and amendment administration.
Support onboarding of new products, pricing structures, and sales processes.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure deals comply with company policies and approval requirements.
Escalate exceptions or incomplete submissions where necessary.
Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation.
Support internal reviews and reporting requirements.
Skills & Experience
Required
3-5 years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Deal Support, or Administration.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
Experience supporting sales teams in a B2B environment.
Familiarity with contracts, pricing, or order processing.
Knowledge of approval workflows and sales processes.
