Global Compensation & Benefits Manager

As Argus continues to grow, innovate and gain market share, the company is looking for a Global Compensation and Benefits Manager to play an important role in helping to drive the company’s growth strategy. The role will work with the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR team to develop and implement reward programs and processes that play a key role in supporting how we attract, retain, and grow talent globally.
What will you be doing
· Work with the CHRO to implement Argus’s global reward strategy and translate the global reward policies into local programs which are aligned to and support the delivery of the overall People strategy and the company employee value proposition.
· Manage global compensation and benefit programs, policies and procedures including salary, bonus, job levelling, global wellness benefits, global mobility and local benefits where needed.
· Ensure compensation plans fit within annual operating plan.
· Participate in relevant salary and benefit benchmarking surveys with external providers, providing tailored benchmark data and costs to various teams as needed.
· Develop salary bands for some of the key roles in our largest locations (London, Singapore, Houston).
· Review simplify and manage our annual and mid-year salary and bonus processes aligned to best practice.
· Work with our brokers and internal tax to review UK benefits and pension annually to ensure they remain competitive and cost effective. Work with the flexible benefits platform provider to set up and test the system for Annual Enrolment Window.
· Present benefit enhancements and cost proposals to the CFO (and CEO) as and when required.
· Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to design and implement benefit packages for new office locations.
· Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to drive employee’s awareness and understanding of Argus Reward programmes.
· Advise and coach the HRBP’s and the business stakeholders in relation to individual employee reward or global mobility issues.
· Ensure relationships with suppliers are effectively managed and participate in negotiations with suppliers. Where possible identify global vendors and where needed work with local vendors.
· Comply with all Argus Media policies, audit and governance requirements and external regulation such as Gender Pay Gap reporting and EU Transparency Directive.
· Monitor and review the external environment, competitive trends and best practice in compensation & benefits, evaluate alternatives and costs and recommend changes where appropriate.
Skills and Experience
A degree ideally in Human Resources or a relevant subject.
Proven experience working in an International or global compensation & benefits role gained within consulting or a fast-paced, commercial environment.
A hands-on, self-starter with strong project management skills able to apply initiative and work independently and with the team.
Strong business and financial acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Collaborative approach with the ability to motivate colleagues to deliver to deadlines.
Proven experience in developing relationships and successfully interacting with all levels of the business.
Ability to develop, promote and execute global reward strategies, while staying on top of the details.
Highly numerate with advanced Excel and Workday experience.
Enthusiastic, pro-active, and able to work at strategic and operational level.
