We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Prices Data Analyst to join our Price Data Operations team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about data and eager to contribute to delivering market intelligence to the global energy and commodity markets.
You’ll collaborate closely with experienced analysts and engineers, supporting data-driven processes that ensure efficient data flow and analytics across the organization. You will also work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements.
The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a can-do attitude - ready to learn, adapt, and grow. Has the ability to work independently, make recommendations, influence decisions and guide junior members of the team.
The team supports Argus’ key business processes every day, as such you will be required to work on a shift-based schedule with other members of the team supporting the business until 8pm. Typically support hours run from 10pm to 6pm with each member of the team participating 2-3 times a week to support global data operations.
What will you be doing
Setting up and managing metadata to ensure accuracy, and compliance
Supporting clients with queries relating to:
o integration of Argus data and metadata into client systems
o data validation
o provision of dataExecuting queries to retrieve and manipulate structured datasets for analysis and efficient data workflows
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect data requirements
Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering or a related field
2–3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Working knowledge of PowerBI.
Experience in SQL for querying relational databases, preferably in Oracle, including stored procedures, functions and triggers.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Project management experience, including task prioritization and working within structured timelines.

Hours: This is a full-time position operating under a hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days working remotely. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, with a one-hour lunch break.
