In this role, you will be covering and analysing spot markets, writing daily/weekly news stories and networking with contacts in the natural gas industry. You will be innately curious and personable and be able to quickly become a subject matter expert.
You will apply and develop skills in daily news reporting, market analysis and features in a fast-paced environment with the highest standards of journalistic independence and integrity. As part of this role, there are opportunities to travel, present at industry conferences and lead webinar sessions, podcasts and other forms of multimedia.

What we’re looking for in you
- A graduate with a strong degree, preferably in journalism
- The legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer
- Demonstrated reporting, writing and goal-oriented collaboration skills, with strong diplomatic, analytical and problem-solving ability
- A basic understanding of markets: Experience covering physical commodity markets is a plus
- A commitment to the highest level of accuracy and completing all writing within established deadlines
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite with particular experience in Excel
- Synthesizing complex information quickly. Writing market commentary, analysis pieces and news stories in clear, concise language while adhering to strict deadlines
- Developing new contacts and relationships within marketplace
- Self-motivation and initiative to drive projects forward with the ability to meet tight deadlines
