Argus is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Asia Consulting Services practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, curious, numerate market analyst, engineer, or inspiring consultant to join our Asia consulting practices. You will undergo training to learn from our industry veterans and the opportunity to work on a range of strategy reports and client studies focused on energy, petrochemicals, and the fertilizer industry for Asia and the Middle East regions.
This role will allow you to be in the driving seat of your career, with great opportunities to grow laterally and upward.
- Work with team to deliver extensive production, demand, and trade data research for various commodities to support supply/demand analysis and assist with forecasting.
- Provide materials in support of proposal developments.
- Build, manage and update databases to support consultancy projects.
- Maintain current knowledge of major drivers and trends across the energy and commodities industry.
- Present findings in market reports, industry insight pieces and in person via conference calls, client visits, webinars, and conferences.
- Track and manage projects and deliverables.

What we’re looking for in you
- A strong degree in Economics and Engineering is highly preferred.
- Key experience (2-5 years) in energy or related industries is preferred but not required; experience in a refining, petrochemical, or fertilizer manufacturing company, or a consultant advisor to these industries, a plus.
- Ability to deal effectively with high-pressure situations and maintain personal levels of resilience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills to undertake analysis of varying sizes of data sets.
- Results-driven and willingness to put in extra hours to complete projects if required.
- An eye for detail.
- Eagerness to learn.

Travel
- Cover client meetings, conferences, and events (5-15% of overseas travel is expected).
Hours
- Monday through Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
- Earlier or later hours, or weekend hours, may be expected on occasion.
