Legal Assistant (10 month FTC)

What we’re looking for
We are looking for an efficient Legal Administrator to provide essential administrative and operational support to our Legal team. You will manage legal documentation and templates, oversee notarisation procedures, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external queries. Strong organisational skills are required to prioritise a high-volume workload. The role also involves assisting with ad-hoc projects and helping the team maintain compliance and efficiency across Argus.
What will you be doing
- Provide timely and responsive administrative support to the Legal team including preparing correspondence on Argus letterheads and organising diaries and team meetings.
- Manage the document storage system in multiple sites, including maintaining standard legal templates and supporting the development of documents and policies.
- Coordinate and manage document notarisation processes, including preparing required paperwork, obtaining signatures, liaising with the notary, and ensuring timely handling and secure storage of certified documents.
- Act as a key contact for the Legal team, providing timely and helpful information to stakeholders and escalating issues when required.
- Apply knowledge of the business to prioritise a high-volume workload and effectively manage and coordinate tasks.
- Gather and arrange evidence in support of trademark proceedings and other contentious matters (for example, evidence of infringement).
- Assist with the preparation of presentation and training slide decks (including formatting and so on).
- Support the Legal team with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years’ administrator experience in a Legal environment.
- Strong coordination and time management skills with the ability to apply initiative
- Ability to manage various tasks, prioritising effectively, and meeting deadlines
- Good IT skills including Word, Excel and experience using Microsoft Packages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with legal terminology
- A track record of developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
