What we’re looking for
Are you a driven and strategic thinker with a passion for the oil products industry? We’re looking for an Oil Products Sales Specialist to spearhead growth and unlock new opportunities across our oil product portfolio. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding our market presence and building long-term client relationships.
What will you be doing
- Work alongside the Account Managers on leads and new business opportunities.
- Roll out global New Business Themes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in oil products.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
- Working with internal stakeholders to build tailored solutions for our clients, to drive revenue growth.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and tailored solutions to potential clients.
- Track sales performance and provide regular pipeline updates.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the oil products sector.
- Strong knowledge of oil products, applications, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing new markets.
- Pro-active, agile and able to work at pace.
- Comfortable reviewing data to identify trends, opportunities and challenges.
- Superb communicator, one-to-one and with groups, at all seniority levels.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a matrix organisation, using influencing and engaging colleagues to achieve your objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
